Bristol hosts many regular International events, designed to entertain the
family or the enthusiast.
The Balloon Fiesta, the Kite Festival and the Harbour Festival are weekend
events that draw people from all over the country.
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
held in August each year, has grown to be one of the largest outdoor events
in the country, attracting thousands of visitors for what is now a four-day

Bristol International Kite Festival
Bristol International Kite Festival at Ashton Court Estate, provides a weekend
kite extravaganza for all the family.
Each year at the festival you can find an array of spectacular kites being
displayed and flown by invited guests and flyers from home and abroad featuring
traditional and contemporary kites from around the world as well as ground

The Bristol Harbour Festival
The most spectacular waterside event in Bristol’s calendar, the Bristol
Harbour Festival is an exciting mix of music, theatre and water activities,
making it one of THE diary dates for the summer in Bristol.
Highlights include tall ships, music on three stages, a performance stage
showcasing a wealth of talent from the southwest and live street performance.
A stunning firework display provides a fantastic finale the event.
